Muster is a UK timesheet app that records time on your phone as you work, applies your employer's overtime rules, and fills in the form they gave you — so the claim you submit matches the days you actually had.
What it does
Records as you go
Clock in, log a standard day, or add an entry by hand. Travel, overnight stays, mileage and breaks are part of the entry rather than an afterthought at the end of the month.
Applies the rules
A weekly threshold, what each hour above it is worth, Sundays, bank holidays, rest days, travel time. Stated once for the employer, with a per-person exception where someone's contract differs.
Produces the form
The timesheet your employer issued, filled in — not a generic export they have to re-key. The figures are shown with their arithmetic so you can check them before you send.
Works with no signal
Site huts, plant rooms and lay-bys do not have coverage. Entries are recorded offline and sent when the phone finds a connection again — you do not have to remember what you did not manage to log.

The point of it is the arithmetic nobody wants to do at eleven at night on the last day of the month:
Overtime rates
A weekly threshold, then time and a half and double time above it — at whatever multipliers your employer actually uses, not a default somebody assumed.
Premium days
Saturdays, Sundays, bank holidays and rest-day working, each at the rate your agreement gives it.
Travel and mileage
Travel time paid at its own rate, and mileage recorded per journey with the return leg counted properly.
Nights away
Overnight allowance, split UK and overseas, counted from the stays you logged rather than reconstructed from memory.
Every one of these is stated in a rules file you can read, and each figure says where its rule came from — the shipped default, your employer's agreement, or an exception on your own contract.

Who it is for
Anyone paid against a timesheet with rules on it: site and commissioning engineers, electricians and other site trades, drivers on nights out, people working away from home on a rota. If your overtime is worked out by hand every month against a spreadsheet nobody wrote the rules into, this was built for exactly that.
Where it came from
Muster was built for one engineer whose overtime was worked out by hand every month, against an employer's spreadsheet with no rules written in it. The rules had to be reconstructed, and then stated somewhere they could be checked.
That is still the shape of it: the rules are visible, and they say where they came from — the shipped defaults, the employer's agreement, or an exception on one contract.
What it costs, and how to get in
